Arts on the Prairie: workshops for creative spirits
The Birger Sandzén Memorial Gallery in collaboration with Bethany College and through the support of The Patterson Family Foundation and the Kansas Creative Arts Industries Commission presents
When: Sunday, June 2, through Thursday, June 6, 2024 – with ceramist Carol Long of St. John, Kansas, AND photographer Larry Schwarm of Seattle, Washington (formerly Wichita)
Sunday, June 9, through Thursday, June 13, 2024 – with printmaker Ray Troll of Ketchikan, Alaska, AND painter Louis Copt of Lawrence, Kansas
Where: The Birger Sandzén Memorial Gallery and adjacent Bethany College Art Department. The Gallery is located at 401 N. First Street in Lindsborg, Kansas
Cost: $900 with all supplies and meals provided – enrollment is limited and will be filled on a first come first served basis. Meals will include on-site breakfast from 8 to 9 a.m. and lunch from noon to 1:30. Supper will be from 6 to 7 p.m. in Lindsborg or the region.
Two $450 scholarships are available through the Birger Sandzén Memorial Gallery. Applicants are asked to complete and return the form available at https://sandzen.org/arts-on-the-prairie/, along with submitting 5 examples of their artwork for scholarship consideration.
